Business Management and Operations Intern (Remote)

Are you interested in an internship in Business Management and Operations for a small, fast growing company in the Healthcare Technology industry? This role is right for you if you are an ambitious and autonomous worker who loves to be in the details, solve problems, and develop processes in a remote work environment. To be successful in the internship you must be able to work well independently as part of a team, take initiative, and apply quantitative and qualitative skills to a variety of business needs. This role reports to the Business Operations Associate and supports projects that contribute to the company operating effectively and efficiently. You will engage in projects that will cross disciplines of internal operations of Avidon included but not limited to business administration, organizational management, and HR. This position is unpaid and requires a minimum of 12 hours a week for at least 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate key tasks, track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
- Assist in resolving business issues and opportunities related to operational continuity and defining a plan to achieve them
- Help to prepare documents, presentations, and data for key internal and external meetings
- Perform research and analysis in support of operations of Avidon Health
Technical skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with team collaboration software such as SharePoint is a plus
- General aptitude to understand and apply new technologies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Adaptable, flexible and excels in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
